  • Employee and Industrial Relations: Provide practical advice and support on performance management, workplace investigations, grievances, awards, enterprise agreements and employment legislation.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and retention initiatives to attract and retain quality employees.
  • Workforce Compliance: Oversee employment screening, credentialing, mandatory requirements, HR records and workforce compliance across aged care and disability services.
  • Learning and Development: Lead and support the coordination of induction, mandatory training, professional development, mentoring and workforce capability initiatives.
  • Workplace Culture and Engagement: Champion a positive, inclusive and accountable workplace through employee engagement, recognition, leadership development and continuous improvement.
  • Workplace Health and Wellbeing: Coordinate return-to-work and workers' compensation processes, support injury prevention and promote employee wellbeing.
  • HR Systems and Reporting: Oversee HR systems, workforce data, compliance reporting and performance indicators to support informed business decisions.

About You

We are looking for a confident, approachable and solutions-focused HR professional who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or substantial relevant HR management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR management or senior HR advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations, modern awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance management processes.
  • Proven ability to develop workforce strategies, improve compliance and support recruitment and retention.
  • Experience overseeing learning and development, employee onboarding and workforce capability programs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the confidence to manage competing priorities.

Highly regarded:

  • Experience within aged care, healthcare, disability services or another regulated environment.
  • Experience with UKG or similar HR and workforce management systems.
  • Experience in organisational change, workforce planning and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting training partnerships, mentoring and professional development initiatives.

Above all, you will be someone who genuinely values people, leads with integrity and understands that a positive workplace culture is fundamental to organisational success.
