Job Title: HR Manager (Part-Time)

Reports to: Founder & CEO

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos (remote but onsite when there’s physical interviews and training )

Salary: ₦280,000/month

Purpose:
Own the full employee lifecycle for the business as a one-person HR function — everything a full HR firm would normally split across several people, run by one person end-to-end, on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
●Full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, offers, contracts, onboarding
●Design and deliver ongoing training and induction programs across the organisation
●Own HR policy: staff handbook, leave policy, disciplinary procedures, attendance tracking
●Run performance management: probation reviews, KPIs, appraisals
●Liaise on payroll accuracy and catch discrepancies before they happen
●Lead culture, retention and staff engagement — especially critical during team restructuring
●Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and exit interviews

Must-Haves:
●5+ years in a generalist HR role, ideally with a business under 50 staff
●Hands-on experience with an HRIS/payroll system (BambooHR, Zoho People, Bento, PayVantage, etc.)
●Has personally built a training program from scratch, not just delivered someone else's
●Excellent verbal and written communication — will represent the brand and handle sensitive conversations
●Comfortable and available on a part-time schedule (days/hours to be agreed)

Nice-to-Haves:
●A degree or background in Law, particularly employment/labour law, is a bonus
●Multi-location experience (Lagos + London is a plus)
●Healthcare, wellness, or hospitality industry background
