# Human Resources (HR) Manager ## Company Overview Hakimo AI is a leading physical security monitoring company providing autonomous AI-powered security solutions to multifamily properties, hospitality establishments, and other commercial spaces. Our cutting-edge platform delivers real-time monitoring, intelligent threat detection, speaker deterrence, alarm triage, and access control analytics using existing ONVIF-compatible cameras. ## Job Summary Hakimo AI is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to build our people function as we scale operations in India. This role is critical to establishing our HR infrastructure, creating a strong organizational culture, and ensuring we attract and retain top talent. You will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation & benefits, policy development, and enforcement. This is an excellent opportunity to shape HR practices from the ground up in a fast-growing AI/tech company. ## Responsibilities - **Recruitment & Talent Acquisition** - Define and execute a recruitment plan to attract qualified candidates across various functions. - Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create compelling job descriptions. - Source talent through multiple channels including job boards, professional networks, and referral programs. - Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and selection process management. - **Onboarding & Integration** - Develop and implement onboarding programs for new employees. - Ensure smooth integration of new hires and provide orientation support. - Coordinate first-day logistics, documentation, and system access. - Track and measure onboarding effectiveness and employee satisfaction. - **Employee Relations & Engagement** - Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Hakimo's values. - Manage employee grievances, conflicts, and workplace issues professionally and confidentially. - Design and execute employee engagement initiatives, team building, and recognition programs. - Conduct regular communication with employees and gather feedback. - **Compensation & Benefits Administration** - Administer salary reviews, incentives, and performance-based pay. - Manage benefits programs including health insurance and other employee benefits. - Ensure accurate payroll processing and statutory compliance. - Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation. - **HR Policy Development & Enforcement** - Develop HR policies aligned with Indian labor laws and company culture. - Create and maintain the employee handbook. - Ensure consistent policy implementation and enforcement across the organization. - Stay updated on labor law changes and ensure company compliance. - Document and manage disciplinary procedures appropriately. - **HR Operations & Administration** - Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems. - Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review. - Manage leave approvals, attendance tracking, and employee verification processes. - Coordinate exit procedures and knowledge transfer. ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 4-6 years of hands-on HR experience including recruitment, employee relations, and payroll administration, preferably in tech/startup environments. - Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements. - Experience building HR functions from scratch or in early-stage companies is a plus. - Experience with HR information systems and payroll software/vendors. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. ## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with HR analytics and workforce planning tools. - Experience in creating and implementing training programs. - Understanding of performance management and employee development frameworks. ## Experience - 4-6 years of relevant HR experience, specifically within tech or startup environments. ## Environment - The position is based in India, with potential opportunities for hybrid work setups. ## Salary - Not specified. ## Growth Opportunities - Opportunity to develop talent in a scaling organization and contribute to the building of HR functions from the ground up. ## Benefits - Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance and professional development opportunities.
