We are looking for an experienced
Human Resources Officer – Egypt to support our business and employees across
key HR areas, including employee relations, recruitment, performance
management, workforce planning, and HR operations. The role will work closely
with managers and leadership to provide practical HR guidance, ensure
compliance with local requirements, and support a positive and productive
workplace.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
1. Employee
Relations: Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees in Egypt. Handle
employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts, and
investigations.
2. Employee
Engagement: Promote a positive workplace culture and support engagement
initiatives and internal communication. Support region-wide HR initiatives and
internal communications.
3. HR
Compliance: Ensure HR practices, contracts, leaves, disciplinary actions, and
employment processes comply with applicable Egyptian requirements. Keep
management informed of relevant changes in Egyptian employment regulations. Coordinate
with external legal advisors on complex employment matters where required.
4. Recruitment
& Talent Management: Support hiring, onboarding, talent development,
succession planning, and retention. Identify critical talent and skill gaps
within the Egypt team.
5. Performance
Management: Drive KPI setting, performance reviews, performance improvement,
and employee development.
6. HR
Operations: Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers,
promotions, contract changes, resignations, and exits.
7. HR
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and analyze HR reports covering headcount,
turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, employee costs, and key HR metrics.
8. Workforce
Planning: Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational
structure, employee costs, and business changes.
9. Social
Insurance & Payroll: Coordinate with Finance, payroll, employee benefits,
salary changes, and statutory requirements.
10. Compensation
& Benefits: Support salary reviews, promotions, benchmarking, employee cost
analysis, and manpower budgeting.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business
Administration, or a related field.
2. 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3
years in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in Egypt.
3. Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labour Law, Social
Insurance (NOSI), payroll, and employment regulations.
4. Experience in employee relations, performance
management, workforce planning, recruitment, and compensation & benefits.
5. Ability to partner effectively with managers and
provide practical HR solutions aligned with business needs.
6. Experience in handling disciplinary matters,
employee investigations, and organizational change initiatives.
7. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving,
communication, and stakeholder management skills.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills in Arabic and English.
10. Ability
to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain
confidentiality.
