HR Operations Manager
PCS Wireless HR Operations Manager
PCS is looking for a strong, hands-on individual contributor HR Operations Manager to help run and continuously improve how HR operates across our global business. This person will serve as the operational backbone of HR and own our HR systems, data, processes, and key programs while working closely with the broader HR team to make sure we operate consistently and effectively across locations.
The role is intentionally broad and designed for someone who can work across multiple areas of HR. While the primary focus is HR operations, systems, programs, recruiting operations, analytics, and project delivery, this person will work closely with the broader HR team and step in where needed to support our people and business priorities.
We are looking for someone who understands HR broadly, can solve problems, improve how work gets done, and take ownership of important priorities from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities:
· Own UKG Ready and our HR systems — Own the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of UKG Ready. Manage configuration, workflows, reporting, integrations, troubleshooting, enhancements, data integrity, and ongoing improvements.
· Make HR processes better — Map, simplify and standardize HR processes across the employee lifecycle, identify what's inefficient or overly manual, and recommend and implement scalable solutions using technology, automation, or redesigned processes.
· Own HR data and reporting — Develop reliable recurring reporting and dashboards, maintain accurate data, identify trends, and make information easier for HR and leaders to use.
· Run key HR programs — Coordinate and improve programs such as onboarding, goal setting, performance management, employee changes, and other company-wide HR activities.
· Support recruiting across the business — Coordinate recruiting practices delivered by HRBPs, hiring managers and other resources. Provide recruiting support for high-priority roles or surge requisitions as needed to support business needs.
· Support employee growth and development — Help build practical ways for managers and HR to identify strong talent, develop employees, and create opportunities for people to grow within PCS.
· Keep HR organized and accountable — Establish clear calendars, workflows, documentation, ownership, and follow-up so priorities don't fall through the cracks.
· Lead HR projects — Take ownership of HR projects and work across teams to get them implemented successfully. Maintain an HR roadmap and recurring programs calendar and surface conflicts with capacity and risks. Coordinate stakeholders and vendors to drive follow-through and make sure programs meet business need.
· Solve problems — Identify issues before they become bigger problems, bring forward solutions, and continuously look for ways HR can work better and support the business more effectively.
Who You Are:
· Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in HR
· Strong, broad HR operations experience, ideally in a global or multi-location organization.
· Hands-on experience owning an HRIS; UKG Ready experience strongly preferred.
· Good understanding of the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance, employee changes, and offboarding.
· Strong analytical skills and comfort working with HR data and reporting.
· Experience improving and building processes, not simply following existing ones.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Comfortable managing multiple priorities and moving between detailed work and bigger-picture problem solving.
· Able to work independently, make sound judgments, and know when to escalate.
· Strong communicator who can work effectively with HR colleagues, managers, and employees across different locations.
· Practical, resourceful, curious, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
