JOB SUMMARY

Our client, an established multinational company within the aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / Senior HR Business Partner to provide day-to-day HR business partnering support to assigned stakeholder groups.

The incumbent will work closely with employees, supervisors, managers and HR shared services teams to ensure effective HR operations, employee engagement, case management and timely execution of HR activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Business Partnering & Operations

  • Provide practical HR advice and coaching to supervisors and managers in accordance with company policies and processes.
  • Partner with HR shared services teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of HR transactions, including onboarding, offboarding and employee data changes.
  • Support the implementation of corporate and site-level HR initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management and policy changes.
  • Track HR actions, milestones and timelines to ensure timely completion of business commitments.
  • Follow up with stakeholders and escalate potential risks or delays where necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR reports and provide HR statistics for management and inter-department meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve HR processes and service delivery.

Employee & Industrial Relations

  • Build strong working relationships with employees and management to strengthen engagement, morale, productivity and retention.
  • Manage employee and industrial relations matters.
  • Conduct investigations relating to disciplinary and performance management cases and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment regulations and identify potential organizational risks.
  • Support proactive employee relations initiatives and best practices.
  • Champion and reinforce organizational culture and values.

HR Data, Reporting & Programmes

  • Identify HR trends, anomalies and potential workforce risks for management review.
  • Prepare HR data and information for leadership discussions, audits and workforce reviews.
  • Support corporate and site-level HR programmes covering areas such as:
  1. Compensation & Benefits
  2. Succession Planning
  3. Workday Learning
  4. Talent Acquisition
  5. Performance Management
  6. Use HR data and stakeholder feedback to support continuous process improvement.

HR Projects & Digitalisation

  • Participate in HR projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Support HR digitalisation efforts, including migration and maintenance of HR content and information.
  • Improve accessibility and consistency of HR information and enhance the employee self-service experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in HR Business Partnering / HR Generalist / Employee Relations.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing employee relations, disciplinary and performance management cases.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices.
  • Experience working closely with operational stakeholders, supervisors and managers.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Good analytical skills with experience preparing HR reports and workforce data.
  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering or other operational environments would be advantageous.
