HR Payroll Associate

You can look forward to these exciting tasks

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, including timekeeping, payroll-related activities, garnishments, and employee record maintenance
• Support temporary employee hiring, onboarding, workforce administration, and other staffing-related activities as needed
• Assist with HR reporting and data management, including preparing and balancing reports using Microsoft Excel and HR systems such as SAP
• Provide general employee support by responding to routine HR questions and directing employees to the appropriate resources when necessary
• Assist with child support orders, court-related correspondence, employee mailings, and other required HR documentation
• Support year-end HR and payroll activities, including reporting, documentation, and employee communications
• Partner with members of the HR team on special projects, process improvements, and other assignments based on business needs

This is what you bring to us

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Payroll, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources, payroll, or related administrative experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred; SAP or comparable HRIS/ERP experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate HR and payroll data
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll taxation, tax payments and deposits, year-end reporting including W-2s and W-2Cs, and applicable federal and state regulations
• Knowledge of garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other payroll-related deductions
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
