Job Summary

Ananda Bhavan Restaurant seeks a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Officer to independently manage payroll and provide comprehensive HR administrative support across multiple outlets and the central kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for approximately 130 staff across multiple outlets
• Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and payroll documentation to ensure data accuracy
• Collaborate with Finance to resolve payroll-related issues and respond to employee enquiries on payroll, benefits, and HR policies
• Support recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and general HR administrative tasks to maintain workforce efficiency
• Administer CPF contributions, IRAS reporting, and other statutory payroll submissions in compliance with regulations
• Manage work pass applications and renewals, liaising with MOM on employment-related matters to ensure compliance
• Monitor employee attendance, investigate discrepancies, and conduct outlet spot checks to uphold attendance standards
• Coordinate staff insurance and foreign worker accommodation arrangements to support employee welfare
• Assist in implementing HR policies, employment regulations, staff training, and welfare activities to enhance workplace environment
• Organize annual staff activities and perform additional duties as assigned by management to foster team engagement

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant HR and payroll experience
• Knowledge of Singapore payroll processing, CPF contributions, and employment regulations
• Familiarity with MOM work pass applications and renewals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn HR/payroll systems efficiently
• Experience in the F&B industry or managing HR in a multi-outlet environment is plus
• Effective communication skills in English; ability to assist Tamil-speaking employees with payroll and HR enquiries is advantageous but not essential
