HR Service Delivery Specialist
The purpose of HR Service Delivery Specialist is to provide employees with exceptional HR Service experience
throughout their employment life cycle. The incumbent will serve as a single
point of contact on all
administrative and transactional HR related services within the HR Department.
The HRS person will be responsible
for all HR services related queries and enquiries in line with Service Delivery
work streams i.e. administer, investigate, communicate and close issues & service in regard to:-
● Industrial and Employee Relations
● Talent Management (Resourcing, Onboarding & Performance Management)
● Reward (pay & benefits)
● Payroll, Contracts & Employee Records Management
● Workforce Administration (includes HRMS – ERP Next, ODOO)
1. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional HR administrative & transactional services
- Receive general HR queries, inquiries and provide answers, resolve & close
- Direct
queries, inquiries to respective HR associates & stream specialists, line
management, in accordance with the operating framework
- Keep records of all HR-related issues & problems
- Escalate
issues to the relevant work stream specialist & problems to relevant
authorities/service provider
- Drive the internal disciplinary process
- Coach Managers and employees on disciplinary process and procedure
- Keep record for all internal disciplinary hearing
- Follow up on CMA cases and appear as company witness
- Managing all HR correspondence in terms of writing various letters to employees for issues about disciplinary eg warnings, transfer and promotion etc
- Provision of standard HR forms & other documents
- Custodian of, files/employee records
- Prepare reports on workforce Admin / Plans execution – standard reports
- Disseminate
communication materials i.e policies, process guidelines, General notices,
forms i.e leave, PDP, loans and other related forms etc
- Compile & submit employee changes
D. Reward, Payroll & Experts
- Compile, process and submit payroll changes for review
- Distribution of pay advice slips (&
print where applicable)
- Submit statutory reports i.e NSSF, revenue authority
- Communicating annual bonuses, salary increases etc
E. Site logistics for Recruitment / Resourcing and Learning processes
- Distribute induction / on-boarding
packs
- Confirm
vacancy in structure / establishment & ensure relevant authority / approved
requisitioning process
- Advertise / source as appropriate i.e advertise, data bank, institutions, 3p recruiting agencies etc
- Receive, (scan) & submit applications to recruitment specialist
- Organize learning venues for local programmers
- Distribute learning materials
- Activate
other work stream instructions as may be given by the relevant specialists from
time to time

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Public/Business Administration or equivalent
- 2- 4 years in HR-related areas
- Strong knowledge of Human Capital Management System ie. ERP Next/ ODOO
- Relevant knowledge in people Management, Resourcing and
Learning
- Attention to details
- Interpersonal/Teamwork skills
- External orientation
Working Conditions:
- Office and Field based
- Flexibility to travel to various branches
- Regularly
required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers while performing
the duties of this job
