Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of the HR Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, localizing and implementing key global HR programs, including employee engagement platforms, performance and talent management, compliance and training platforms and other HR initiatives.


The HR Manager will lead and demonstrate the values and culture of “The Unipart Way” by adopting lean management principles and approach.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the North American roll-out of global HR programs, ensuring alignment with central HR guidelines while tailoring messaging and logistics for the North American region
  • Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones and deliverables for HR initiatives across North America
  • Track project completion metrics; compile status report and present progress updates to the HR and key stakeholders.
  • Assist with change management strategies to ensure high adoption rates of new tools and processes across the North America market
  • Coordinate regional data gathering and execution for global frameworks, such as international mobility surveys, global talent review windows and succession planning
  • Serve as the primary regional point of contact for global HR project managers, ensuring operational readiness and regional feedback loops.
  • Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) written and verbal translation support for HR project communications, policy updates, SOP changes and operational roll-outs
  • Partner with HR Manager, Operations to deliver onboarding, safety policy acknowledgements, and global program training to Spanish-speaking associates
  • Assist in conducting local forms and communication session at the site locations ot foster employee inclusion and drive participation in company-wide initiatives.
  • Utilize lean management principles (“The Unipart Way”) to evaluate HR administrative processes, identifying opportunities to eliminate waste and optimize workflows
  • Support new site launches, business transitions and contract onboarding efforts as needed.
  • Perform other project-related duties as assigned by HR leadership

  • Ability to travel to support other sites as required by the business (30% travel)


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated expertise in HR project coordination, generalist support or program implementation
  • Previous experience in 3PL, warehousing, distribution or manufacturing preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) strongly preferred to support frontline operational teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple overlapping initiatives, meet firm deadlines and coordinate cross-functional tasks across multiple locations
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage effectively with executives, site leads and frontline warehouse colleagues
  • Strong awareness of cultural nuances and change management principles required when introducing global programs into local site environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to site facilities as project roll-outs require.
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible with working hours to meet operating needs of the business
