HR Specialist

Summary

Recruits and supports IT staff for a remote Estonian company, handling sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and HR admin with optional AI tools.

We’re looking for an Internal HR Specialist / Recruiter to join Flexipy OÜ and support hiring, people operations, and day-to-day staff management across our internal team.

This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a remote IT company. You should be able to source candidates, run interviews, support onboarding, and help keep internal HR processes clear and consistent. Experience in IT recruitment is important; readiness to use AI tools in daily HR work is a plus.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition, or people operations
  • Experience hiring for IT / tech roles (developers, QA, PM, sales, marketing, or similar)
  • English level: B2+ (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication skills: clear, structured, professional, and human
  • Experience sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, job boards, Telegram, and similar channels
  • Ability to screen CVs, conduct first interviews, and assess basic role fit
  • Basic understanding of remote work, contractors, and IT team structure
  • Self-organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple openings at once
  • Comfort working with documents, spreadsheets, calendars, and messaging tools
  • AI familiarity: Claude, ChatGPT/OpenAI, or similar tools for job posts, outreach, screening notes, and HR documentation

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates for open Flexipy positions across different roles and seniority levels
  • Publish and update job posts, review applications, and maintain the candidate pipeline
  • Conduct screening calls and interviews; coordinate next steps with hiring managers
  • Prepare interview summaries, candidate feedback, and hiring recommendations
  • Support offer preparation and candidate communication through hiring stages
  • Manage internal staff records and basic HR documentation
  • Support onboarding: start dates, welcome flow, probation follow-ups, and first-week check-ins
  • Help with offboarding and role transitions when needed
  • Track open roles, candidates, and hiring status in agreed tools
  • Maintain recruitment SOPs, interview templates, and internal HR processes
  • Support internal team communication on HR-related topics: schedules, policies, requests, and updates
  • Use AI tools to speed up job post drafting, candidate outreach, summaries, and HR admin work
  • Help improve hiring quality, speed, and consistency over time

Will Be a Plus

  • Experience recruiting for remote teams or outstaff / outsourcing companies
  • Experience with Upwork, Djinni, Dou, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms
  • Basic knowledge of employment / contractor arrangements in Ukraine or Estonia
  • Experience supporting performance reviews, probation periods, or internal reporting
  • Experience with Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Plane, Linear, or similar tools
  • Completed courses in HR, recruiting, or people management
  • Interest in building HR processes in a growing IT company from the inside
