HR Staffing Representative Subs - Education Center (6:00am-3:00pm)
POSITION TITLE: HR Staffing Representative – Substitutes
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Human Resources/Education Center
STATUS: Classified, Non-Exempt/Full Time
HOURS: 8 hours per day/242 calendar
HOURLY RATE: $19.00
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Staffing Representative will support classified and certified substitute. The staffing representative will share Staffing Support team coverage. This position is part of the Human Resources Talent Acquisition team and reports to the Manager of Substitute Staffing.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform onboarding functions (I-9 Verification, offer letter, employee ID picture, etc.) for both classified and certified substitutes.
- Assist with daily substitute teacher, nurse, and para placement.
- Assist with daily substitute customer service needs.
- Classified Subs: interview, hire, set up an orientation.
- Organize and present substitute orientation training sessions. Must organize and prepare packets.
- Scan necessary paperwork
- Manage payments for classified staff working as a substitute teacher.
- Communicate with school staff and employees regarding license, practice, and pay.
- Manage and review classified substitutes Oracle Time and Attendance.
- Enter professional trainings in Absence Management, and manage the professional leave calendar.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in onboarding and presentation experience preferred

- Microsoft Office experience
- Accurate record preparation and maintenance
- Ability to operate photographic equipment and standard office equipment
- Ability to use pertinent software applications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the performance of light work— Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The position includes occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
