The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization's Human Capital Management system and related HR technology platforms. This position serves as a key partner to Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, IT, and operational leaders to ensure HR systems are accurate, efficient, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.
The HR Systems Analyst will analyze HR data and processes, troubleshoot system issues, manage system configurations, support integrations, develop reports and dashboards, and identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes where accurate team member, credentialing, payroll, scheduling, compliance, and workforce data are critical to supporting team member and maintaining regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
HCM Administration Administer and maintain the organization's HCM and related HR technology applications. Maintain employee records, organizational structures, job codes, positions, workflows, security roles, and system configurations. Manage system changes, upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality. Troubleshoot HCM issues and serve as a primary point of contact for HR system support. Partner with HR team and IT to resolve technical issues and ensure system availability and data integrity. Maintain appropriate system access and security based on team member roles and responsibilities.
Reporting & Data Analytics Develop recurring and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics. Analyze employee data to identify trends related to turnover, headcount, hiring, compensation, attendance, workforce demographics, and other HR metrics. Ensure HR reports and data are accurate, timely, and consistent. Support leadership with workforce data and analysis for operational and strategic decision-making. Maintain data definitions, reporting standards, and documentation.
HR Integrations Ensure accurate and timely flow of employee data between HR, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and other systems. Monitor HCM integrations and identify and resolve data-transfer issues. Assist with audits, reconciliations, and system testing. Support interfaces with recruiting, learning management, credentialing, timekeeping, and other workforce systems.
Process Improvement & Automation Evaluate HR processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. Recommend system enhancements, workflow improvements, and automation opportunities. Participate (may lead) in HR technology implementations and projects. Create and maintain process documentation, system procedures, and user guides. Conduct testing and quality assurance before system changes are released to users.
Compliance & Data Security Support HR compliance reporting and audits. Maintain accurate and confidential employee information in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Assist with data audits to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity. Follow organizational privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements, particularly regarding sensitive team member and healthcare-related information.
Customer Support & Training Provide HCM support and guidance to HR staff, managers, and staff. Develop training materials and conduct system training as needed. Translate technical system information into practical solutions for HR and business users. Build strong relationships with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and operational/program leaders and teams.
