The opportunity
We are partnering with a large Perth-based organisation seeking an experienced HR Systems Analyst to support and optimise its HR technology environment.
This is a varied position combining functional support, system administration, continuous improvement, data integrity and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with HR, Payroll and operational stakeholders to resolve system issues, improve processes and ensure the organisation is getting the most from its HR systems.
The role would suit someone who enjoys investigating problems, understanding business requirements and translating them into practical system improvements.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the administration, configuration and optimisation of the organisation's HR systems
- Investigating and resolving system, process and data issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, functionality and the user experience
- Partnering with HR, Payroll and operational stakeholders
- Supporting payroll, workforce management and broader employee lifecycle processes
- Maintaining system accuracy, data integrity and compliance
- Coordinating upgrades, releases, enhancements and configuration changes
- Supporting testing, UAT and implementation activities
- Producing reports and interpreting system data to support business decisions
- Maintaining system documentation and procedures
- Providing guidance and training to system users
- Working with vendors and external partners where required
About you
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience administering, supporting, configuring or improving an HRIS, HRMS, payroll or workforce management platform.
Dayforce experience would be highly regarded, although candidates with strong transferable experience across platforms such as UKG, Kronos, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Chris21, iChris, Aurion, Oracle HCM, TechnologyOne HRP, ADP or similar systems are encouraged to apply.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience in an HR Systems, HRIS, People Systems, Payroll Systems or Applications-focused role
- Hands-on involvement in system configuration, optimisation or functional support
- Experience investigating complex system and data issues
- Exposure to payroll, scheduling, rostering, time and attendance or position management
- Experience supporting upgrades, releases, testing or system enhancements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to data accuracy
- The ability to translate business requirements into practical system improvements
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
Experience within a large, complex, multi-site or award-based organisation would be beneficial but is not essential.
