Work with stakeholders to determine whether identified issues require process, policy, data or system changes. Payroll Governance & Controls Perform payroll readiness and operational control checks across employee data, earnings and deductions, GL mappings, leave balances, payroll calendars, approvals and payment readiness. Coordinate with Payroll and local teams to investigate and resolve issues identified during payroll processing. Support reconciliation and validation activities required to demonstrate payroll accuracy. Track corrective actions following payroll errors, control failures or system defects. Support the design, testing and validation of interfaces, APIs, SFTP/file feeds and other data-transfer mechanisms between HRIS and payroll platforms. Investigate data discrepancies and recurring data-quality issues through to root cause and resolution. Identify opportunities to replace manual data movement with sustainable reporting or integration solutions. Ensure payroll data requirements are considered as part of wider HRIS configuration and change activity.
