ASSISTANT HR MANAGER /SENIOR HR GENERALIST
We are hiring an Assistant HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist on behalf of our client within the Property / Investment sector.
This is a broad-based, hands-on HR role for an experienced HR professional who can manage day-to-day HR operations while supporting key HR improvement initiatives. Candidates with practical exposure to salary reviews and market benchmarking, compensation analysis, job evaluation/grading, HR policy reviews and change management will have a strong advantage.
The successful candidate will work closely with management to strengthen HR practices, improve organisational effectiveness and support ongoing people and transformation initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the full spectrum of HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and offboarding.
• Support annual salary reviews and compensation benchmarking exercises, including gathering market data, analysing internal and external pay competitiveness and providing recommendations to management.
• Conduct salary and compensation analysis across different job functions and levels to identify market positioning, pay gaps and areas for review.
• Review job descriptions, job evaluation, job grading and salary structures, and recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Support management in change management, organisational transformation and HR process improvement initiatives, including stakeholder communication and implementation.
• Review, develop and update HR policies, procedures and employee guidelines in line with business and regulatory requirements.
• Review and enhance performance management and appraisal processes to better align performance, organisational objectives and rewards.
• Support HRIS implementation, system enhancements and HR digitalisation initiatives.
• Identify learning and development needs and coordinate relevant training and talent development programmes.
• Provide HR advisory support to management and employees on HR policies, compensation, performance, employee relations and other people matters.
• Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to improve HR effectiveness, employee experience and organisational capability.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–7 years of broad-based HR Generalist / HR Business Partner experience.
• Good hands-on experience across HR operations, recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
• Exposure to salary reviews, salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, job evaluation or job grading will be highly advantageous.
• Experience supporting change management, organisational transformation or HR process improvement projects will be advantageous.
• Experience in reviewing or developing HR policies and performance management frameworks.
• Exposure to HRIS implementation, system enhancement or HR digitalisation would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, resourceful and comfortable operating in a hands-on HR environment.
PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Candidates with experience in Asset Management, Property / Real Estate, Real Estate Investment, Investment Management, REITs, Private Equity, Family Offices or other investment-related organisations will be highly preferred.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are particularly interested in candidates who have personally participated in or managed salary benchmarking and/or annual salary review exercises and can demonstrate practical involvement in the process.
Experience supporting organisational change, HR transformation, policy harmonisation, or the implementation of new HR processes and systems would be an added advantage.
