HS Teacher Assistant (Ridge-way Learning)

Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Teacher Assistant will:

• Assist/aid classroom teachers in their shared mission to improve the quality of education offered to Porter-Leath’s students.
• Assist the nutrition staff with preparing high-quality meals for students.
• Relieve teachers during periods of absence and during breaks.
• Remain a flexible and organized team player in order to help all members of the Porter-Leath Community.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED with a Certified Development Associate (CDA) Certification with Infant Toddler Endorsement is required.
• Relevant work experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience working in a non-profit is preferred.
