Senior DLP Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DLP Security Engineer to join an international cybersecurity environment and support enterprise-level Data Loss Prevention solutions.

The role combines hands-on technical work with DLP technologies, policy management, endpoint security, testing and collaboration with cybersecurity, technology and risk stakeholders.

The selected specialist will cooperate with Antal in an outsourcing model, providing services to our client based in Kraków.

Your responsibilities

• Support and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and security controls.
• Manage DLP policies and endpoint-related exceptions.
• Work with solutions protecting Data in Motion and Data in Use.
• Administer and configure DLP agents and supporting systems operating on-premises and in cloud environments.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data security controls.
• Cooperate with technology, platform and security stakeholders on technical issues, risks and service improvements.
• Support testing activities, including test planning, test scripting, test data preparation, test execution and defect management.
• Support the remediation of security and control-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational records.
• Cooperate with global and regional cybersecurity and IT teams.
• Support activities related to risk management, compliance and audits.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention and Data Security.
• Hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Experience with DLP technologies, ideally at least two of the following: Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, Trellix.
• Practical experience with Data in Motion and Data in Use Security.
• Experience with DLP agent administration and configuration.
• Experience managing DLP policies and endpoint-related exceptions.
• Experience working with systems hosted both on-premises and in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Data Security and Application Security fundamentals.
• Experience with test planning, test scripting, test data preparation, test execution and defect management.
• Experience in data protection, cybersecurity and risk management, preferably within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Understanding of security controls, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and security topics clearly.
• Good documentation and task-management skills, including experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience working with auditors or regulators.
• Knowledge of test automation.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Broader knowledge of Data Security, privacy and data anonymization.
