HSE Coordinator / WSHC (LTA / PUB)

Job Scope

• Support and coordinate WSH and environmental activities in compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and company requirements.
• Provide day-to-day safety guidance, coaching, and support to workers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring the project HSE Management System, Site Safety Program, and environmental programs.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and compliance checks, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Identify safety and environmental gaps and recommend practical improvement measures.
• Coordinate toolbox meetings, safety briefings, HSE training, and safety-related activities.
• Assist with risk assessments, Permit-to-Work (PTW) checks, and implementation of risk control measures.
• Support incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, authorities, consultants, and other relevant parties on WSH and environmental matters.
• Maintain accurate WSH and environmental records, reports, registers, and documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and checks on emergency equipment.
• Assist with WSH performance monitoring, statistics, trend analysis, and ad hoc safety-related duties.

Requirement

• Diploma in Occupational Safety Management, or equivalent
• 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
