HSE Engineer
The HSE Engineer will monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements across the project, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, project procedures, and international best practices.
- Conduct routine site safety inspections and audits.
- Monitor contractor compliance with approved HSE plans.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Review risk assessments, method statements, and permit systems.
- Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver safety awareness initiatives and toolbox talks.
- Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability requirements.
- Prepare HSE reports and performance statistics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in construction HSE.
- Experience on large infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent) required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and practices.
- UAE/GCC supervision experience preferred.
