HSE Inspector (Project P)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent

  • HSE / OSH Certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, DOLE OSH, or equivalent)

  • First Aid & Emergency Response Training

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) functions within construction, infrastructure, dam, or hydropower projects.

  • Proven experience conducting site safety inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring for contractors and subcontractors

  • Hands-on experience in hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA/JSA), and implementation of control measures

  • Experience in monitoring high-risk activities such as:

  • excavation and earthworks

    work at height

    lifting operations and heavy equipment

    confined space works

    concrete works and formwork systems

    • Demonstrated experience in incident and accident investigation, root cause analysis, and preparation of corrective and preventive action reports

    • Experience in reviewing and enforcing method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems

  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, codes, and standards

  • Ability to conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

  • Competence in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Permit-to-Work systems

  • Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking

  • Familiarity with construction equipment, heavy machinery, confined spaces, and work-at-height safety
