Catalytic Combustion is immediately hiring for a HSE Manager. Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This position ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. The HSE Manager works closely with managers and employees to reduce workplace risks, prevent injuries, minimize environmental impact, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Duties:

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines
• Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, quality and environmental regulations
• Lead incident & near miss investigations, identify root cause and work cooperatively with Operations and Human Resources to provide corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences, provide follow up and communicate with staff by providing reporting and metrics
• Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks by conducting and documenting Safety Walk Throughs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive H&S programs and initiatives that comply with regulatory requirements and promote employee participation and accountability.
• Works cooperatively with Operations in performing job safety analysis and perform risk assessments on critical job tasks.
• Monitors compliance with safety procedures, ensuring OHSA compliance, including assisting with record keeping. Records and documents all environmental health and safety requirements.
• Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
• Act as company representative with the local Safety Council, and other related professional organizations.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and human resources to improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, ergonomics, and environmental stewardship.
• Assist with workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs.
• Read and understand technical documents, including those describing laws and policies that relate to health and safety requirements.
• Track and analyze safety performance metrics and prepare reports for leadership
• Monitor contractor safety records and documentation
• Develop and deliver employee safety training and orientation programs
• Coordinate annual and recurring safety training requirements
• Provide guidance and coaching to supervisors regarding safety responsibilities and best practices

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or in a related discipline required
• 5+ years of experience with health and safety in a manufacturing environment is desired
• Strong knowledge of health and safety basic regulatory and legal framework.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Maintain accuracy in reporting and records
