Job Summary**
The HSE Manager at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. This role focuses on fostering a strong safety culture and continuously improving HSE performance across projects and operations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE management systems, policies, and procedures in accordance with Primoris Services Corporation standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices.
* Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, to determine contributing factors and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for employees at all levels, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, confined space entry, fall protection, and equipment safety.
* Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to management with recommendations for improvement.
* Manage and administer the company's workers' compensation program, including injury reporting, claim management, and return-to-work initiatives.
* Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* Promote and foster a proactive safety culture through communication, engagement, and recognition programs.
* Stay current with new and updated HSE regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements to ensure continuous improvement of company programs.
* Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of planning and execution.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.
* Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or equivalent certification highly preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local HSE regulations.
* Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive HSE programs and management systems.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate employees at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct effective incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HSE management software.
* Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
