HSE Officer
Description
Conduct routine inspections of excavation, lifting, confined space, and traffic‑related works.
Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions to workers and subcontractors.
Monitor PTW systems for high‑risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting operations).
Prepare hazard identification and risk control measures for site activities.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
Maintain HSE documentation, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Ensure adherence to Ashghal requirements, project specifications, and international HSE standards.
Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve safety issues.
Participate in HSE meetings and company QHSE promotional initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety.
Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
Previously Ashghal‑approved HSE Officer (mandatory).
Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred)
NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely.
Ashghal HSE approval for infrastructure projects.
Valid Qatar government project approvals.
HSE training (Work at Height, Confined Space, Fire Safety, Lifting Operations).
