🚨HIRING: HSE OFFICER

Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-time, Onsite
Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000/month

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and safety-conscious **HSE Officer** to implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environmental standards across our operations and work sites.

### **Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor proper use of PPE and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure emergency response procedures are in place and understood.
• Monitor environmental compliance and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, permits, certifications, and SDS documentation.
• Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Report safety hazards and compliance concerns to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
• Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, NISCN, or equivalent is an advantage.
• 3–5 years’ relevant HSE experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Good knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and HSE compliance.
• Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and enforce safety standards.
• Proactive, observant, and committed to workplace safety.
