About the Company
Our client is a well-established international shipmanagement company providing technical and marine management services to aglobal fleet. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to support their growing LNG fleet by ensuring compliance with international safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Company's Safety Management System (SMS), including preparing manuals, procedures, and fleet notices.
- Coordinate internal and external audits for vessels and the office to ensure compliance with international maritime and ISO standards.
- Assist in preparing vessels for customer inspections and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyse HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) performance indicators and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual HSEQ review meetings, including preparing meeting materials and taking minutes.
- Liaise with vessel crews, regional offices, classification societies, auditors, and external stakeholders on quality and compliance matters.
- Provide administrative and documentation support for HSEQ projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2 years of relevant experience in HSE, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Ship Management, or a related maritime environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI), AI tools, or Microsoft Access will be an advantage.
- Strong documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A proactive team player with strong coordination skills.
