HSSE & Operational Business Risk Coordinator

Massy Gas Products (Trinidad) Ltd invites applications to fill the position of HSSE & Operational Business Risk Coordinator. Some key duties and responsibilities are:

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate HSSE support for routine operations, projects, turnarounds, shutdowns, transport activities, contractor work and other activities selected on the basis of risk.
• Coordinate management-system documents, legal registers, management-review inputs, committee records and audit evidence readiness.
• Coordinate pre-mobilisation inspections and verify that approved competency, insurance, equipment, emergency-response, environmental and HSSE documents are available before work begins.
• Track process safety leading and lagging indicators, barrier-verification plans and actions and escalate material deviations to the Manager and accountable operational leader.
• Coordinate the initial HSSE response to incidents and emergencies, mobilise appropriate coverage and ensure timely escalation under the incident classification and notification process.
• Coordinate reporting on HSSE, process safety, environmental, contractor, business-continuity and approved measures.

KEY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment or a related discipline, or an equivalent recognised NEBOSH qualification.
• A recognised ISO 45001 auditor qualification.
• An acceptable combination of formal training in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, emergency response and Control of Work systems, Contractor Management, Business Continuity, Risk Management and ESG reporting .
• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HSSE experience in industrial gas, oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing or another high-hazard environment.
