Overview of job
HwaCom is seeking an experienced finance and accounting professional with experience in leading accounting functions (e.g., AP, AR, GL, FP&R, taxation,…etc.). You will also be actively involved in ad-hoc projects as appointed by your line manager.
This role reports to the CFO.

Measures of success –
In 3 Months

• Adapt to HwaCom’s values and work in a dynamic with fast-paced environment.
• Learn the processes and key drivers of our business and fully understand how the business operates.
• Follow OTC regulations and filing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Build relationships with the leading professionals within the organization.

In 6 Months

• Identify key areas and opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Fully manage the team and work independently.
• Start to drive process improvements and deliver meaningful financial analysis in support of the Companies’ strategic planning process.

In Twelve Months

• Deliver improvements that can be resulted in revenue growing, cost savings and streamlined workflows.

Responsibilities Of the Role

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations of HwaCom Subsidiaries, including but not limited to leading AP, AR, GL, FP&R, taxation, and financial auditing to ensure the accuracy and timely submission to the management team and the Group Chief Accounting Officer.
• Familiar with OTC regulations and follow the rules to meet the deadline of all aspects announcement as required.
• Develop, implement and review efficient and effective accounting processes, and overall internal controls of the company.
• Responsible for preparation of the annual statutory reports for the entities to ensure compliance with Taiwan IFRS.
• Be the liaison to the external and internal auditors and tax agents.
• Perform effective monitoring of all budgeting, taxation, working capital, and credit control, and to drive continuous improvement in these areas.
• Other ad hoc projects that will need to be managed from time to time based on business requirements
• Foster a positive working environment for all team members and check in regularly to ensure team members satisfaction and maintain strong working relationships.
• Maintain strong working relationships with other departments to ensure effective communications for operational issues, serves as a role model for inter-departmental collaboration and support.
• Be the trainer of financial concept to the stakeholders.
