HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Our client is a growth-oriented agribusiness specialising
in three core divisions: Herbs and Botanicals for essential
oils, Honey By-products,
and Processing, Extraction, Packaging and Labelling, with a planned Ranching
Division. These operations will be based at the Company’s designated
Special Economic Zone facility, with end products destined for global export
markets. The client seeks to fill the position of Human Resource Manager which has arisen in their company

Key Duties and Responsibilities
· HR strategy and structure: Develop the HR strategy, organisational structure, staffing plan
and people policies for all divisions.
· Talent acquisition and
deployment: Lead recruitment, onboarding, placement
and succession planning for technical, operational and support teams.
· People management systems: Establish employment contracts, staff records, HR procedures,
performance-management tools and payroll controls.
· Performance and capability: Drive KPI-based performance management, staff training, leadership
development, employee engagement and retention.
· Employee relations: Manage grievances, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations
and conflict resolution in a fair and professional manner.
· Compensation and benefits: Support management in developing competitive pay, benefits,
allowance and commission structures linked to measurable results.
· Compliance and workplace
standards: Ensure adherence to employment law, HR
professional standards, occupational safety, welfare and social-protection
obligations.
· Management reporting: Provide accurate reports on headcount, labour cost, productivity,
turnover, performance, training needs and workforce risks.
Qualifications, Experience and Professional Requirements
· Academic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from a recognised institution.
· Postgraduate advantage: A postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management,
Organisational Development, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations or a related
people-management field will be an added advantage.
· MBA advantage: MBA in Human Resource Management, in addition to the defined
qualification criteria, will be an added advantage.
· Professional qualification: CHRP-K or an equivalent recognised HR professional qualification is
preferred.
· Professional membership: Current membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management
and a valid practising certificate, where applicable.
· Experience: Minimum of eight years’ progressive HR experience, including at
least three years in a management role.
· People-management track
record: Proven track record in managing, motivating
and developing diverse teams will be an added advantage.
· Sector exposure: Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, processing, export,
logistics or SEZ operations will be an added advantage.
· Technical competence: Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations,
compensation, HR information systems and workforce reporting.
