Human Resource Officer
Summary
Handles full recruitment lifecycle, onboarding, work passes, and HR compliance for a Singapore-based fitness company.
Key Reponsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle to meet business hiring needs, including candidate sourcing, job advertisement posting, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, selection, offer preparation, and onboarding for all positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, provide recruitment advice, and ensure timely fulfilment of vacancies.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employment practices are aligned with the latest Singapore Employment Act, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and relevant government agencies to process, renew, and maintain work passes and employment passes for foreign employees in a timely and compliant manner.
- Assist to coordinate and manage internal and external learning and development programmes, including training registration, logistics, attendance tracking, and training records.
- Assist to conduct and coordinate employee exit interviews, compile feedback, generate turnover reports, and analyse trends to support employee retention initiatives.
- Support the handling of employee relations matters by assisting in the resolution of employee grievances, providing guidance where appropriate, and promoting positive workplace relationships.
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including recreational, wellness, recognition, and team-building activities to foster a positive work culture.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with record retention requirements.
- Foster open communication by promoting an open-door culture and serving as a point of contact for employee feedback and HR-related enquiries.
- Provide HR operational and administrative support, including coordination of operational matters and cross-functional projects as required.
- Perform any other HR, administrative, or operational duties and special projects asassigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with the administration of work passes and employment-related statutory requirements will be an advantage.
- Proactive and resourceful, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Committed to continuous learning and keeping abreast of changes to employment legislation, MOM regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience with Times Software will be an advantage.
