Human Resources Administrator

Price Industries is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Human Resources Administrator to support the day-to-day HR operations of our Progress Plant in Lawrenceville, GA. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders, helping ensure a positive employee experience while supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and plant engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for plant employees and supervisors, answering employee questions and providing support on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee status changes, training, development, engagement, and offboarding.

  • Manage recruiting activities, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, coordinating hiring events, and facilitating candidate communication.

  • Coordinate onboarding activities, maintain employee data in Paycom and other HR systems, and conduct 30/60/90-day new hire check-ins to ensure a positive employee experience.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, leave administration (LOA/FMLA), benefits documentation, and other HR-related information.

  • Support benefits administration, temporary workforce management, including review of agency timecards and invoices, and other HR operational processes.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, training activities, and plant communications to promote a positive workplace culture.

  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

  • Participate in employee events, plant meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational and workforce goals.

  • Perform other human resources and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or employee support experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.

  • Spanish language verbal and written a huge plus.

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce.

  • Experience working with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or pursuit of HR certification
