We invite applications for the NEW position(s) of Human Resources Advisor (2 positions), in the Human Resources Department at our Administration Building, located in Saskatoon, SK.
Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, responsibilities for the position include the following:
Leader Coaching, Employee Support & HR Advisory
- Provide first-level HR guidance to leaders on employee relations, attendance, performance, and policy
- Coach leaders on employee conversations, documentation, and follow-up
- Support consistent application of HR policies and programs
- Assist with conflict resolution and workplace issue management
- Identify and escalate people-related risks to HRBP / Labour Relations as needed
Attendance & Disability Management Coordination
- Coordinate attendance tracking, correspondence, and record-keeping
- Support leaders with attendance expectations, meeting prep, and follow-up
- Coordinate admin for disability, accommodation, and return-to-work processes and next steps
- Escalate complex attendance or accommodation cases for HRBP review
Employee and Labour Relations & Workplace Support
- Support leaders and employees with routine workplace concerns and policy questions
- Participate in employee meetings and manage documentation and action tracking
- Support routine fact-finding and information gathering; escalate complex investigations
- Partner with leaders to implement corrective actions aligned to policy
HR Reporting, HRIS & Workforce Administration
- Generate routine and ad hoc HR reports on attendance, turnover, and workforce data
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and process employee lifecycle transactions
- Compile and validate workforce information to support reporting and decision-making
- Maintain confidential employee records with accurate and complete documentation
- Identify data trends and recommend improvements to HR service delivery
HR Administration, Programs & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare HR correspondence, forms, and meeting materials
- Support HR projects, audits, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
- Assist with updates to HR resources, tools, templates, and SOPs
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive human resources experience, including strong HR administration experience and exposure to employee relations, attendance management, disability management, performance support, and leader coaching. Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
Working toward or completed CPHR designation preferred
