HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY)

The primary purpose of this position is: To accomplish routine tasks associated with the Customer Service Program and to perform a wide variety of both procedural and substantive clerical work supporting the military personnel programs, operations, or functions.

1. Serves as recognized source of information on ID cards applications. Counsel's active duty, reservist, retirees and their dependents on eligibility requirements, individual options and processing procedures. 2. Updates inquires and processes actions through Personnel Data Systems. 3. Performs other action pertaining to Customer Service Programs to include SGLI/FSGLI updates, personnel in-processing, citizenship updates, and joint spouse updates among other programs. 4.Performs clerical support to ensure efficient office operations. 5. Uses a variety of office hardware, software, and peripherals in the performance of military personnel functions and performs other clerical support work.
