HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY/OA)

The primary purpose of this position is to perform the full range of substantive clerical or procedural work in support of the separation and retirement program and to provide office automation support using multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents.

Independently processes all paperwork necessary to process members for separation, discharge, retirement, passports, and release from active duty. Conducts records review with members. Serves as the primary source of information for individuals, commanders, and other personnel on and off base regarding separation and retirement policies, procedures, passports, and requirements. Updates, inquires, and processes actions through Personnel Data System. Uses multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents, formats, etc.
