Human Resources Business Partner (ASEAN)
Your Job
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a key member of the GSM Asia Pacific South HR team, partnering with business leaders and employees across Singapore and selected countries within the region. You will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and HR initiatives that support business growth and success. Working closely with regional HR peers and local stakeholders, you will help build a high-performing culture while delivering strategic and operational HR support
Our Team
You will be part of the GSM Asia Pacific South HR team, collaborating with HR professionals across Singapore, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The support scope will be primarily teams based in our Sales Office in Singapore, as well as remotely support a few teams in India, Malaysia, and Thailand etc. You will also closely partner with Singapore Plant HR team to for key people initiatives and projects locally in Singapore.
What You Will Do
Strategic Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to support business goals through people strategies and initiatives.
- Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management activities.
- Use HR analytics and insights to support decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
Culture and Engagement
- Advance the application of our PBM (Principle-Based Management) culture in all people initiatives.
- Support employee engagement efforts and organizational culture development.
Talent and Succession Management
- Support talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to strengthen talent pipelines, development, and retention.
- Monitor talent markets and help enhance the organization's talent positioning.
Leadership Development
- Support leaders and supervisors in building strong teams and leadership capabilities.
- Leverage corporate learning resources and platforms to support development needs.
- Assist in designing and delivering leadership development programs and workshops.
Compensation and Benefits
- Advise and support wage and incentive review processes.
- Partner with HR Capability teams to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with company philosophy.
Employee Relations
- Manage performance issues, employee relations matters, and separations, partnering with HR Compliance and Legal as needed.
- Coach managers through employee issues and difficult people situations.
Workplace & Employee Experience
- Serve as the HR lead for the Singapore Sales Office (~70 employees), helping foster a positive and productive workplace environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR & Admin Coordinator on office administration, employee experience initiatives, and local office programs.
- Support workplace and engagement initiatives that strengthen culture and employee experience.
HR Operations
- Partner with other HR Capability teams to ensure effective execution of HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and HR systems administration.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency to enable effective business partnering.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with relevant working experience.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
- Strong interest and experience in talent, leadership, and organizational development.
- Strong business partnering, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.
- Growth mindset with strong learning agility.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

- Experience supporting regional or multinational organizations.
- Experience in talent review, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics and insights.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, or commercial organizations.
- Familiarity with organizational design and change management initiatives.
