Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Indianapolis team and serve as a trusted partner to leaders and team members across our manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on, highly visible HR role focused on helping leaders build and maintain strong teams, ensuring consistent people practices, and providing day-to-day HR support. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role will be part of a global HR team and will report to a People Team Leader at our Spokane, WA office, while serving as the primary on-site HR partner for our Indianapolis operation.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace concerns.
  • Provide insights and guidance to leaders on effective people management and policy application.
  • Take ownership of attendance oversight, tracking trends and ensuring consistent accountability.
  • Partner with leaders and recruiting resources to fill open positions and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Investigate employee relations concerns and provide recommendations for appropriate resolution.
  • Support corrective action, performance improvement, and other employee management processes.
  • Serve as an approachable and trusted HR resource for employees.
  • Support employee engagement, communication, development, and culture initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent HR practices and compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
  • Partner with the broader People Team on HR programs, projects, and organizational initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing or hourly workforce strongly preferred.
  • Strong employee relations, performance management, and attendance experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders.
  • Recruiting and talent acquisition experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Ability to work independently, build relationships, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS system highly preferred.
