The HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success across designated business units. This role focuses on delivering expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and policy compliance, acting as a trusted consultant to management. The HRBP fosters cross-functional partnerships to enhance employee engagement, resolve complex issues, and support workforce planning, ensuring HR initiatives reflect CAMS’ strategic goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with line management to provide HR guidance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee fact-finding for site grievances and employee disciplinary issues, providing input as needed.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure consistent application across the organization.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health, income protection, retirement, and other plans for eligible employees and dependents.
- Analyze trends and metrics in collaboration with HR teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance in employee management.
- Provide performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching requirements.
- Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure objectives are met.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all CAMS functional areas.
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefit programs and HR policies, ensuring clarity and resolution.
- Administer medical leave requests and oversee related processes.
- Maintain HR information system records and compile reports from databases to support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Development, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Strong project management skills and experience writing HR policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems; familiarity with benefits administration platforms preferred.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage various management levels.
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, current regulations, and hiring processes.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude with high professionalism.
- Energetic and well-groomed, with organizational astuteness and discretion.
- Ability to lead initiatives, analyze data, and manage compensation and wage structures.

Preferred Certifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
