Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support and to manage and facilitate the human resource needs and processes of a dynamic law office.

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by:
    1. Sourcing operations team candidates
    2. Scheduling interviews
    3. Coordinating candidate communications
    4. Participate in selected first round operations team interviews
    5. Conducting reference checks and employment verifications
  • Serve as a firm representative at networking events, career fairs, and community outreach activities to cultivate candidate pipelines, enhance brand awareness, and support recruitment initiatives.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding schedules and activities, including preparation of orientation materials and schedules.
  • Maintain the new hire orientation calendar and ensure training programs are timely, relevant, and complete.
  • Assist with training newly hired operations team members.
  • Maintain employee records and data within the firm's Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, including preparing correspondence and supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with firmwide employee engagement activities and special events, including the annual summer outing, Day of Service, monthly milestones, and other programs throughout the year.
  • Provide general support to the Human Resources team and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turn-around time and high expectations for attention to detail and quality of work-product, while managing multiple, often competing priorities
  • Must possess outstanding commitment to providing excellent service and highest quality work product, be self-motivated, responsive and a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the firm
  • Superior proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and advanced technology skills
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information with discretion
  • Problem solver with strong organizational skills
