Description

Join Our Team as a Human Resources Coordinator!

Are you organized, approachable, and passionate about helping others succeed? Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) are seeking a dependable Human Resources Coordinator who is ready to support our employees and make a meaningful difference behind the scenes.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will work closely with the Human Resources Manager to support recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and daily HR operations. You will help new employees feel welcome, provide helpful guidance to our team, and keep important processes organized, accurate, and on track.

If you value confidentiality, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment, we would love to meet you!

Why You'll Love Working With Us

At MKSA/KULA, you will become part of a supportive, child-centered organization that includes teachers, teacher assistants, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other professionals.

Our team helps children with developmental delays and disabilities strengthen their skills, build independence, and reach their fullest potential. In Human Resources, you will support the employees who make that progress possible by helping create a positive, welcoming, and organized workplace.

We primarily serve children from birth through kindergarten and may expand our services during the summer to include elementary school-aged children with special needs.

What You'll Do

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will:

  • Assist with recruiting by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing new hire paperwork.

  • Attend career fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach activities to promote MKSA/KULA and support hiring efforts.

  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential personnel files and employee records.

  • Assist employees with routine questions about company policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures, referring more complex matters to HR leadership.

  • Support benefits administration by processing enrollment forms, employee changes, and related records.

  • Track HR workflows and follow up to ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.

  • Help maintain current employee records and required postings to support compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

  • Track performance evaluation deadlines and assist managers with required documentation.

  • Help coordinate employee training, required certifications, and compliance education.

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR metrics as requested.

  • Provide professional, courteous service to employees, applicants, and visitors.

  • Support special projects and suggest ways to improve HR processes.

Qualifications

Education and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Experience
  • At least one year of successful experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, applicants, managers, and others.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet-based programs.

  • Ability to learn new software systems and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Ability to read and interpret policies, safety rules, and other company documents.

  • Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups.

  • Basic math skills and practical problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to recruiting events and company locations.
