Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is an integral member of the HR team with responsibility for assisting with essential HR functions including maintaining the HRIS and talent management systems, payroll processing, recruiting, and managing employee communications. Core Duties / Responsibilities
General HR Administration
- Partners with colleagues and leadership team in the execution of HR initiatives to meet business goals.
- Manages new hire process expeditiously to ensure compliance with program start-up requirements.
- Monitors PTO calculations and utilization compliance with policies.
- Responds to written requests for verification of employment (VOE’s), unemployment claims, STD claims and other such requests.
- Supports HR team with ad hoc projects, audits, benefit open enrollment, etc. and other related responsibilities as directed by management.
HRIS Systems
- Creates, updates, and maintains the HRIS systems and personnel files in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Maintains employee benefits information in company HRIS system and ensure benefits enrollments/changes are reported to benefits carriers and entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Assists in on-going development, administration, maintenance, and modification of HRIS processes, procedures and guidelines.
- Assists in preparing operational and statistical reports as requested.
Multi-state Payroll Processing
- Prepares bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls by following established payroll policies and procedures to review, verify, correct, and enter information on a continuous basis.
- Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of the payroll system, time and attendance records, and reports.
- Processes employee garnishments, tax levies, child support, or other deductions; coordinates benefit adjustments.
Recruiting
- Supports Recruiting team by sending online application, pre-employment assessments and tracking status of candidates in HRIS.
- Supports Recruiting team with ad hoc projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
- Three (3) years of recent HR experience preferably in a professional services/staffing industry.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
