Human Resources Executive (Bentong)

Company Background:

We are representing our client, an innovative company in the sustainable agriculture and animal nutrition industry. As part of their growing operations, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Executive to support their day-to-day operations and contribute to the company's mission of developing sustainable solutions for the agriculture and animal feed industries.

Location: Bentong, Pahang

Working Hours: 6 days per week. Mon-Thu & Sat: 8am to 4.30pm including 1 hour lunch break. Fri: 8am to 5.30pm with 2 hours lunch/prayer break.

Job Responsibility:

Key responsibilities

  • Manage employee attendance, leave records, payroll inputs and personnel files.
  • Act as the main HR contact for employees regarding HR queries, grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Support employee relations, including show-cause/warning letters and domestic inquiry processes.
  • Liaise with government agencies such as Jabatan Tenaga Kerja on HR and statutory matters.
  • Support workplace safety matters, including safety induction and incident reporting.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process based on manpower requirements.
  • Handle foreign worker recruitment and administration, including work permits, accommodation, transportation and welfare.
  • Coordinate job offers, pre-onboarding and new employee induction.
  • Identify training needs and support the development of employee training plans.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports and HR-related metrics

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum university degree, preferably in Business Administration,
    Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • With at least 3 years of hands-on work experience in the manufacturing or
    related environment.
  • Experience as HR generalist is required, day-to-day HR operations, manpower
    planning, recruitment, training & development and change management
    skills.
  • Experience in managing foreign workers and/or expatriate employment
    matters in Malaysia is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written in
    Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint etc.)
