Human Resources Generalist

Detailed Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Reporting:
- Oversee social media management related to HR initiatives
- Support change management processes within the organization
- Responsible for the project management of HR initiatives. Ensure that project deliverables are provided on time
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Lead recruitment efforts including posting jobs screening resumes, conducting interviews and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and manage interview processes.
- Manage onboarding processes for new hires
Employee Relations:
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address HR-related inquiries and concerns
- Serve as a liaison between employees and management, provide counsel to management to maintain a productive environment, including employee development, coaching, recognition, etc.
- Advise management on employee performance issues and appropriate corrective actions
Benefits Administration:
- Manage benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Participate in the coordination of employee benefits through the full process cycle, including liaising with health insurance brokers and health insurance to resolve insurance claims.
- Effectively plan and manage employee leaves of absence, short-term disability, worker's compensation issues, OSHA requirements, PTO issues, and other employee matters.
Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Coordinate and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives
HRIS, Timekeeping, and Payroll:
- Utilize HR system Paycom for timekeeping, payroll and HRIS activities
- Oversee maintenance of employee personnel files and the Paycom system.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Proven ability to develop and implement people strategies that drive business outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Deep expertise in talent management, organizational development, and culture-building.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR technologies (e.g., HRIS, ATS), and people analytics.
