Human Resources Generalist

The Opportunity

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for overseeing employee onboarding, employee changes, employee terminations, I-9 compliance, annual background check compliance, employee file maintenance, routine audits, reporting, leave administration, ADA administration, special projects, and general administrative tasks with confidentiality & discretion. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will collaborate with finance, talent acquisition, and other members of the team at ConvenientMD to support and improve the employee experience.

Your Impact

  • Act as an ADP Admin by navigating ADP functionalities, resolving issues, and working to implement system process improvements; provide timely response to user questions.
  • Independently oversee new hire processing, employee status changes, and employee terminations; collaborate with talent acquisition, finance, and other internal teams to improve processes around status changes.
  • Create, organize, and categorize employee files; respond to requests for file access from inside and outside sources.
  • Develop/improve training offerings and corresponding training materials; draft routine HR correspondence.
  • Respond to all employment verification requests.
  • Oversee credentialing requests.
  • Support the drafting of routine correspondence, communications, and paperwork.
  • Monitor HR inboxes, respond to routine requests employee and\or manager requests; escalate non-routine items when appropriate.
  • Support the employee onboarding processes for new-hires including any\all pre-hire tasks.
  • Act as the first touch-point for new team members as they enter into ConvenientMD; answer new-hire questions and respond promptly to questions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing operations; partner with cross functional teams as needed to implement improvement solutions.
  • Create and analyze standard HR reports, respond to ad-hoc reporting requests as-needed.
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HR technology upgrades.
  • Support new and ongoing human resources special projects (compensation, performance management, engagement, diversity, etc.).
  • Provides backup, as needed for other HR related responsibilities.

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of experience in employee onboarding, employee relations, reporting, and HRIS administration.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
  • Strong computer skills including the MS Office suite, and Smartsheet.
  • 1+ Years of experience using HRIS systems, preferably ADP’s Workforce Now.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to complete all work with a high level of accuracy; strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent customer service skills; strong initiative to follow-up on pending/open items.
  • Able successfully complete all pre-employment screenings/activities in a timely manner.
