What You'll Do

  • Manage the full recruitment process, from job postings and applicants through hiring and onboarding.
  • Serve as a trusted and accessible HR resource for employees and supervisors.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Support supervisors with performance management, coaching and employee concerns.
  • Manage employee benefits, leave administration and HR-related payroll responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, credentials and required background checks.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations and disciplinary processes.
  • Manage HRIS information and reporting.
  • Coordinate employee training and professional development.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Help identify practical ways to continually improve HR processes and the employee experience.

These responsibilities reflect the major functions in Pathway's current HR position, including recruiting, payroll/benefits, compliance, employee relations, HR systems and culture.

What We're Looking For

We are especially interested in someone who is:

  • People-oriented and approachable
  • A strong communicator who listens carefully and follows through
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities
  • Professional and able to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with leadership and supervisors
  • Experienced with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable about employment practices and laws, including FMLA, ADA and wage-and-hour requirements
