HR Development Program
Launch your career at the intersection of people, business, and technology. Potter Global Technologies' HR Development Program is designed to accelerate the development of future HR professionals through approximately 18-month rotations across key areas of Human Resources.
As an HR Generalist, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines while working alongside experienced HR professionals and business leaders. Rotations may include areas such as Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnership & Employee Relations, Total Rewards & Employee Experience, and People Analytics.
Through meaningful projects, mentorship, formal development, and exposure to leaders across the organization, you’ll develop a well-rounded understanding of how HR supports employees, enables leaders, and drives business results.
Rotation 1: Talent Acquisition
Your first rotation will be within Talent Acquisition, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the full recruiting lifecycle and broader talent initiatives. You’ll work closely with recruiters, HR partners, hiring managers, and business leaders while building a strong foundation in how organizations attract, assess, hire, and develop talent.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate interviews and recruiting activities across multiple locations and time zones.
- Manage candidate communications and recruiting logistics to deliver a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists to develop and refine behavior-based interview guides aligned with role requirements and organizational competencies.
- Support sourcing activities and talent pipeline development for targeted and early-career positions.
- Support offer process administration, pre-employment activities, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain accurate candidate information, recruiting documentation, and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Assist with the development and promotion of employee referral and internal mobility initiatives.
- Help plan and execute campus recruiting activities, including career fairs, university partnerships, campus events, and pre-career fair programming.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Marketing on employer branding, recruiting campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Assist with the creation, maintenance, and posting of job descriptions and employment opportunities.
- Support HR reporting, documentation, compliance activities, and data accuracy initiatives.
- Coordinate employee engagement programs, HR initiatives, and business activities.
- Support business unit town halls and employee events through planning, communications, logistics, and content development.
- Assist with leadership development, talent planning, and organizational initiatives.
- Support workforce planning activities, including maintaining organizational charts and workforce documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build knowledge of Potter’s businesses, products, customers, and workforce to develop strong business acumen throughout the program.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as development and business needs evolve.
