Human Resources Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead the organization's people strategy, talent management, organizational development, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will drive workforce excellence, employee engagement, and business growth through effective HR leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to management on HR policies and people-related matters.
  • Lead recruitment, workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational growth.
  • Assess training needs and implement learning and development programs.
  • Design and manage compensation and benefits programs while ensuring market competitiveness.
  • Promote employee engagement, manage employee relations, and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Oversee disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for executive management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master's Degree or MBA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 8 years' progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
