Human Resources Manager
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with distribution center leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies that support operational goals.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to ensure timely staffing of open positions while improving recruiting effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
- Drive retention initiatives through analysis of workforce trends, turnover, engagement feedback, and organizational needs.
- Build strong relationships across the distribution center through visible floor presence and accessible HR support.
- Coach leaders on performance management, leadership development, team member engagement, conflict resolution, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead team member relations activities, including investigations, corrective action, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with leaders to identify and support training and development needs across the operation.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through recognition, communication, engagement, and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR practices.
- Maintain HR metrics and workforce analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee administration of compensation, benefits, leave management, team member records, and related HR processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including support of large team member populations in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other operational environments.
- Demonstrated success leading talent acquisition, workforce planning, retention, and team member engagement initiatives.
- Strong background in team member relations, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to build credibility and influence leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS platforms, and workforce reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or large-scale operations environment.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
