GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Human Resources Manager oversees the human resources and its day-to-day functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering a collaborative workplace, and supporting the organization's strategic goals. Key responsibilities include compliance with HR laws, policy implementation, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and staff compensation management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes to attract top talent
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Design and administer compensation, benefits, and wellness programs
- Lead initiatives for employee development, training, and engagement
- Maintain HR records and generate reports for management review
- Promote a positive workplace culture
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- - Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages Human Resources activities, as appointed, in one of the following sections: compensation and records, employee benefits, the employee assistance program, HR technology and staffing services.
- Manages and provides overall direction to the appointed section staff.
- Completes special projects and establishes new policies and programs that improve overall efficiency of the human resource functions in the agency.
- Consults with all levels of management regarding human resources policies, procedures and programs specific to area of assignment.
- Performs related work as assigned.
