Human Resources Manager
Reports to the General Manager
- The HR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Human Resources activities, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services that support the operational needs of the KMTR concession.
- The HR Manager oversees recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, training, HR administration, and compliance with labor legislation. The role works closely with operational managers to ensure a productive, engaged, and compliant workforce across the organization.
HR Operations :
- Manage all day-to-day Human Resources activities.
- Administer the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied.
Recruitment & Onboarding :
- Coordinate recruitment activities in partnership with managers.
- Manage onboarding and employee integration.
- Support workforce planning and staffing requirements.
Employee Administration :
- Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with local labor legislation and internal procedures.
Employee Relations :
- Support managers on employee relations matters.
- Assist in disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive and respectful working environment.
Training & Performance :
- Coordinate training and development activities.
- Support performance review processes.
- Monitor mandatory training and compliance requirements.
HR Reporting :
- Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics.
- Monitor headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment KPIs.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
- 7–10 years of Human Resources experience, including operational HR responsibilities.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, mining, industrial, or multinational environments.
- Experience in Central Africa, preferably in the DRC and/or Zambia.
- Good knowledge of labor legislation, payroll administration, recruitment, and employee relations.
