Human Resources Manager

Our client is an established Singapore land and hydrographic survey firm with over 30 years of experience in precise geospatial work. It has recently launched a deep tech start-up working on emerging technologies. This role leads HR for both businesses, so you’ll be supporting an established operation and a growing tech venture at the same time.

What You’ll Do

• Run HR operations end to end for both entities: recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations
• Put HR policies in place and keep them compliant with Singapore employment laws and statutory requirements
• Work with leadership on workforce planning, job design and organisational growth
• Manage HR records, the HR system (HRIS) and benefits administration
• Plan and coordinate training, development and career progression programmes
• Advise managers on people issues, including conflict resolution and performance concerns
• Lead engagement and culture initiatives, and support change management as the organisation grows

Core Key Skills

• Experience as an HR Manager or senior HR Generalist
• Solid working knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR compliance
• End-to-end recruitment experience: job design, sourcing, interviewing and onboarding
• Employee relations and performance management, including running review cycles
• HR administration: policy rollout, HRIS and employee records
• Experience designing or coordinating training and development programmes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with teams at every level
• Handles confidential information with discretion and works well independently
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field

Nice to Have

• HR experience in technical, engineering or professional services firms
• SHRM, CIPD or IHRP certification
• Experience supporting change management in a growing or multi-entity organisation
• Comfortable working in a technology-driven environment
